We understand the complications of piecing together such an ambitious programme for us never mind joining up all the dots with the other participants. Which brings me on to that subject. What a wonderful bunch of people; I can’t remember a tour group that gelled so well right from the start to the goodbyes. Alessandra was fantastic, she really looked after us. The guides and drivers were all the tops.”
